Sanyo Gutiérrez and Javier Leal form a new pair for the 2025 season on the professional padel circuit. After a mixed 2024, these two players, with very different backgrounds, hope to relaunch their careers together.
Sanyo Gutierrez will try to get back on the professional padel circuit after a disappointing second half of the season. Since September 2024, his performances have been limited to a semi-final at FIP Platinum Mexico and another in Marbella. These results contrast with a first half of the season more to his standard, marked by a semi-final at the Qatar Major, followed by another at the Acapulco P1. Sanyo also reached the quarter-finals at Puerto Cabello P2, as well as at Sevilla P2 and Mar Del Plata P1. However, since his quarter-final at Finland P2, nothing more to report on the personalised tour Premier Padel.
For his part, Javier Leal, a 21-year-old left-winger, is known for his power. Former partner of Lucas Campagnolo, he is looking for a trigger to finally reach quarter-finals more regularly on the circuit Premier Padel. Originally from Puerto de Santa María, the Spaniard is part of this young Spanish guard that aspires to join the national team. Although still a little short for this level, Leal has promising potential. The experience of Sanyo could be the trigger to help him continue his rise.
The association Leal/Sanyo will be one to watch closely in 2025This pair represents a real opportunity for both players to find a new dynamic: hit or miss, but the objective is clear: to give new impetus to their respective careers.
