Padel Magazine : What a long way to go to find itself in the world top 3 of padel… Can you tell us about your beginnings?

Sanyo: I started playing padel at the age of 9. I was playing tennis and my dad was playing padel. He found it rather fun and the team sport aspect appealed to him enormously. So he logically put me at padel. And there I also fell in love. We played both tennis and padel. And bit by bit, I found myself getting good.

Padel Magazine : In France, we have a lot of tennis players, can a tennis player become a very good tennis player? padel ?

Sanyo: I believe that tennis can really help to play padel, and even to become a very good player. Take the example of David Sanchez who is a confirmed player in tennis, here he is found in the professional circuit of padel while it comes from tennis. And I can tell you that he's a very good player, difficult for everyone to play. So yes tennis helps.

Sanchez: The 2013 year is excellent with many wins on the best pairs in the world, we also won WPT tournaments that prove that the pair is working well. We wanted to be together because we are friends, we get along very well, but also because our respective games combine well.
