We were not far from witnessing a very nice surprise at the Valencia Open from World Padel Tour. Jérémy Scatena and Mark Bernils were at “a break from the rescue".

In this first round of previas, the Franco-Spanish pair faced Diogo Rocha / Antonio Luque, two players in the top 80 world.

We were really not far away. We lead 6/3 3/3 break point… and we miss it. While we had 1 set in our pocket, we missed the boat in this second set. Opposite, it's high level and our opponents did not miss the opportunity to break us at 6/5 in the second set… Really a shame.

End of story for Scatena / Bernils at the Valencia Open. But these two players come out with their heads held high and full of confidence for the future.

Next test, that of Mijas.
