Jérémy Scatena returns to the field this week after several months of absence. Currently 682th in the world ranking, the Frenchman is engaged in FIP Silver Perugia next to Nicolás Suescun (103th in the world), a partner he knows well.
And for their first match together in a while, the duo responded well. Scatena and Suescun imposed themselves 7 / 6 6 / 1 against the Danes Emil Lilleøre Madsen / Malthe Nielsen, in a controlled match despite a close first set.
A tough round of 16
En Round of 8, they will have a lot to do against the seeded 5, Gerard Arnaldos Serrano / Alonso Rodriguez Martinez, but the pair has all his chances, especially if it continues on the same dynamic.
This return to business is all the more interesting as Scatena and Suescun have already played together in the past, especially on the World Padel Tour. We remember their great courses at the Cascais Master or the WPT Paris Challenger.
On the way to Bandol
This encouraging recovery comes at just the right time: Jérémy Scatena will compete in the FIP Silver in Bandol next week, alongside another former partner, Benjamin TisonAn experienced duo, who could well make a name for themselves on home soil.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
