On July 29, 30 and 31, will take place in Sète Padel Club a tournament of padel 100% feminine.
This event is organized by the collective Let's be actresses of our lives » which aims to promote, encourage and enhance the practice of sport for women:
“We want to act on the ground to allow sports practice for all.
We have chosen sport, and specifically padel, to organize a 100% female weekend with the support of the French Tennis Federation and the Hérault Tennis Committee.”
This competition will meet all levels of practice: on the one hand will be present the high level with the organization of a P1000 and on the other the leisure practice via a P100.
During these three days, many players will meet. Some of the best French players will also be present. Among them will be Elodie Invernon, 3rd Frenchwoman and ambassador of the event, but also Fiona Ligi (5rd French), Charlotte Soubrié (6rd French), and many more.
“It will be an opportunity to discuss all together and to promote the padel feminine in a warm, festive and friendly atmosphere!
In parallel with the competition, we also organize an initiation on Friday evening, only open to women, whether they are athletic or not, in order to introduce the practice of padel.
The success of this event is possible thanks to our partners "Public Prod'", the Domaine de Seilhac", the spot, the Béziers Padel club and My Center Palavas.”
Program :
From 17 p.m. to 18 p.m.: Free introduction to padel for children.
From 18 p.m. to 21 p.m.: Free introduction to padel for women followed by an aperitif offered for all participants.
From 20:30 p.m. to 21 p.m.: Exhibition match
From 20 p.m. to 23 p.m.: P1000 qualifying table.
From 9 a.m.: Start of the P1000 final table.
From 20 p.m.: All P1000 players are invited free of charge for an evening at the private beach “Le spot” in Sète.
From 9 a.m. the ½ finals of the P1000 will begin. They will be followed by the final.
Throughout the day, a P100 Women will take place alongside the final table of the P1000.
About the collective:
The collective “Soyons Actrices de nos vies” highlights the journey of women who knew how to dare, undertake and succeed. The idea is to share moments of conviviality and mutual aid to promote female sports practice.
Le padel is a vector of multiple values such as team spirit, respect, sharing and solidarity. These are all values that the collective wishes to promote to as many people as possible.
We want to take advantage of this sporting event to highlight other professions in which women shine. You will therefore be able to benefit from all the skills of our photographer, our accommodation providers and the venue for the evening.
It is the alchemy of all these encounters that allowed this collective to see the light of day.
