Tuesday we officially announced the resumption of the game 2 against 2 in Spain. Although positive, this news is not unanimous.

Spain allowed this week the “normal” resumption of activity padel for all regions, whether in phase 1 or 2. Whether in 1-on-1, 2-on-2 matches or during training for up to 10 people both in outdoor and indoor clubs.

And it is the word indoor that is the problem. According to a press release of May 16, it is impossible to practice sports activities in indoor clubs until further notice… However, this Tuesday May 27, another press release, from the FEP this time, authorized the resumption of padel in all facilities.

Everyone is in the dark. Is it legal to let players on a padel ? Yes. Is it legal to open indoor clubs? Not sure. And if so, do they have the right to leave 4 players on the track or only must they allow access to 2 players for a 1 against 1?

We understand that the task is very complicated for governments because we are faced with a situation never known before. It is really case by case, each sport must be studied thoroughly, in all its details so that everyone, players, clubs, companies, feel targeted and can respond as clearly and professionally to a request.

Let those who have not yet resumed the activity take this as an example in order to avoid misunderstandings.
