Focus on changes to the specifications for tournaments padel P1000 in 2018.

  • Prize money of 1000 € or more per event (lots not counted)
  • Application for homologation: at least 8 weeks before the start of the tournament
  • Referee: JAT1 minimum (the JA of a P 1000 can not in any player of the tournament he organizes)
  • Arbitration of non-compulsory parties
  • P 1000 Men: 16 teams minimum per event - Determined according to the Ranking of Padel. Please note: 16 teams minimum are required for a P 1000, however:
  • If the tournament has 8 teams 15, it will be approved in P 500 and not P 1000. The prize money will however have to be distributed as originally announced
  • If the tournament has 4 to 7 teams, it will then go to P 250, the announced prize money to be distributed
  • If the tournament has less than 4 teams, the event may take place but will not be homologated. The prize money announced initially will have to be distributed
  • P 1000 Women: 12 teams minimum per event - Determined according to the Ranking of Padel. Please note: 12 teams minimum are required for a P 1000, however:
  • If the tournament has 8 to 11 teams, the points distributed will be equivalent to those of a P 500 and not a P 1000. The prize money will however have to be distributed as originally announced
  • If the tournament has 4 to 7 teams, it will then go to P 250, the announced prize money to be distributed
  • If the tournament has less than 4 teams, the event may take place but will not be homologated. The prize money announced initially will have to be distributed
  • P 1000 tournaments are open only to Clubs with a minimum of 3 short games (covered or overdraft) with a minimum clear height of 7 meters
  • Sports formula: Final table mandatory from the 8ème finale
  • Format (s) matches:
  • Qualifications: at the choice of the organizer
  • Final Table: up to the final 1 / 4: 1 or 2 format
  • Semi-finals and Finals: 1 format
  • Possible classification matches: at the choice of the organizer
  • Please note: if classification matches have been announced, they will have to be played and will award the points corresponding to the final ranks obtained (see point scales). A pair not wishing to play in the classification matches will in fact obtain the last rank corresponding to their round of the table
  • 3 new balls for each game (except classification matches where new balls are not required)
  • The tournament must have a final table, with staggered entries or online entry - See below
  • The tournament must take place over a maximum week
  • Players must be able to have lunch at the Club
