After Reunion Island, New Caledonia to acquire its first padel. The Caledonian Tennis League sees far with this sport which arrives on this paradise island of Overseas.

2 fields and ambition

The inauguration of the padel of the league took place on April 17. And since then, the “lots are full”Explains the manager padel from overseas, Philippe morin. The Lyonnais finds himself embarked on a new adventure which sees him move from the Chassieu club to New Caledonia. An additional motivation with the mission of developing the padel in the West Indies, Reunion… and New Caledonia.

The lands were named “Lyliane Porcheron” and “Roger Kaddour”. It was normal to pay tribute to these 2 figures of New Caledonian tennis.

A very big thank you to the French Tennis Federation for making this project possible.

A project that was made possible thanks to the plan padel in the leagues set up by the former team of the FFT. A plan that is still relevant today since other leagues are currently following suit.

Ultimately, we will thus have padel in the 13 French leagues. In the West Indies, we are also about to offer padel by the start of the summer vacation. A private structure in Martinique could even see the light of day with padel and 5-a-side football.

The former President of the FFT, Bernard Giudicelli expressed “his great pride in having left this mark of our visit in July 2019".
