The eighth stage of the CUPRA Padel Tour was held at the Paris Country Club, an iconic venue and partner of HeadThe day saw players compete despite difficult weather conditions, all motivated by the opportunity to qualify for the Master Final on November 30.
In the P250 Men category, John Taieb and Maxime Mesguich won the final after a super tight tie-break against David Bismuth and Mathieu Namblard, winners of the Deauville stage. Their victory also earned them a weekend behind the wheel of a Cupra car, offered by the Cupra Car Lovers dealership.
The P25 tournament also generated great enthusiasm, with Saber Touil and Olivier Normand winning against Loris Lemousse and Yoan Duboin. Participants appreciated the welcome and the rewards, highlighting the importance given to the padel amateur at this event.
The entertainment was also a highlight of the day. Spectators rushed to take part in the “Cupra treasure chest” event, where one lucky winner took home a racket and a thermobag. The children were also delighted, taking advantage of the advice of Frédéric Heitz, head of the padel at the Paris Country Club, and having the opportunity to play with Adrien Maigret, member of the French team.
Adrien Maigret then joined Melissa Martin, ranked 9th in France, for a clinic where participants attempted to score points against this high-level mixed pair.
The day ended with the traditional Cupra aperitif Padel Tour. There are now eight stages left before the Master Final, with the next meeting this weekend at Breizh Padel in Rennes.
