Carolina Orsi and Spaniard Nuria Rodriguez win the FIP Platinum Sardinia after a fierce battle against number 2 seeds Marta Marrero and Aranzazu Osoro.
The Italian-Spanish duo triumphed in three sets: 6/2 6/7 6/3, during a match lasting 2 hours and 42 minutes.
Carolina Orsi expressed her satisfaction: “This is my first major international title and I am very happy to have won it in Italy. I'm going to stay here for the European Championships Padel FIP, and it’s a special adventure for me”.
Nuria Rodriguez also shared her joy: “It's been a long time since I had so much fun on the court. It has been a difficult season with many injuries, and I thank my entire team for their constant support.”
