Tapia and Chingotto, mission accomplished
Both players had a little taste of unfinished business on the American circuit, after their failure at the San Sebastian tournament. But this time, everything fell into place. Chingotto, initially registered for the FIP Platinum of Lyon, changed his plans to join Tapia in New York, and he was right to do so.
The logical favorites of the tournament, they assumed their status without trembling: victory in the quarterfinals against Jofre / Arroyo, then in the semi-finals against Augsburger / RubiniIn the final, they had to battle against Bergamini and Bautista, but ended up winning out 7 / 6 6 / 3A great success for a duo formed especially for the occasion, just before returning to the fight for the world throne on the circuit. Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero, the New York surprise
In the women's race, the scenario was completely different. The sensation of the weekend came from Ari Sánchez et Andrea Ustero, who brought down the big favorites Gemma Triay et Delfi Brea in the semi-finals. A symbolic victory for Ustero, increasingly cited as the future of women's padel and Ari's potential partner in the future.
In the final, the duo of New York Atlantics left no chance Vero Virseda et Claudia jensenSolid from start to finish, they won 6 / 2 7 / 5, giving their team the title.

Thanks to this women's victory and the third place obtained by Jon Sanz and Lucas Campagnolo, New York Atlantics wins the general classification of the Pro Padel League 2025, with only two points ahead of the San Diego Stingrays.
Le Miami Padel -, despite the coronation of Tapia and Chingotto, finished third in the season, while the Flowrida Goats, long dominant, fall to fourth place.
This 2025 edition confirms the rise in power of the Pro Padel League, which is gradually establishing itself as a major showcase for padel across the Atlantic.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match.
