Arturo Coello et Agustín Tapia continue to write their legend. By establishing themselves in Buenos Aires Premier Padel P1, the Spanish-Argentine pair won their 4th title of the 2025 season and reached the bar of 33 tracks together since their association in 2023.
With this figure, they equalize Galán and Lebrón and become the 4th most successful pair of the modern era of professional padel.
A historic pace despite a “strange” year
Admittedly, the start of the 2025 season has had some hitches, but the World No. 1 remain at the top of the FIP ranking, well ahead of the competition. Their record on Premier Padel is now 22 tracks, to which are added 11 tracks gleaned from the World Padel Tour before the merger of the circuits.
Their consistency, tactical dominance and mental strength make them the strongest pair of the current circuit, despite the turbulence.
Objective: Overtake Lima and Bela
With 33 tracks, Coello and Tapia are only a three lengths from Pablo Lima and Fernando Belasteguín (36), circuit legends between 2015 and 2019. A brand within reach, if the duo maintains its level.
Ranking of the most successful pairs
Here the top 5 of the most successful pairs:
- Fernando Belasteguín / Juan Martín Díaz - 170 tracks
- Ariana Sánchez / Paula Josemaría - 40 tracks
- Belasteguin / Lima - 36 tracks
- Tapia / Coello - 33 tracks
- Galan / Lebron - 33 tracks
Behind, we find historical duos like the Alayeto sisters (32 titles) or even Triay / Salazar (23)
Their next target is clear: the podium. But in the distant sights, another dimension awaits them... that of Bela and Juan Martin. For now, unattainable. But with them, nothing seems impossible.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
