Agustín Tapia  enters a little further into the legend of padel. By winning a new title last weekend, the Argentinian has  set an unprecedented record in the modern era of padel  :  five consecutive victories in the same city ,  Malaga .

Five titles in five years

From  2019 ,  “Mozart of Catamarca”  literally dominates every passage on the Costa del Sol. Year after year, no matter his partner, Sanyo, Lima, Coello… Tapia always leaves with the trophy.  No one else had achieved such consistency. , in the same tournament, at the highest level of professional padel. That’s 5 titles in 5 years for “Agus” with 3 different partners:

Malaga, his favorite garden

He proved it again this week on the  Premier Padel P1 of Malaga , by eliminating Chingotto/Galan for the second year in a row in the final with his partner Arturo Coello. And in the process,  it definitely establishes itself as the undisputed reference in this Andalusian city , which is more successful than any other arena on the circuit.

He discovered padel in 2016 in Nantes and quickly became attached to the game, even climbing to 474th place in France. Commentator on Padel Mag TV, he covers the various tournaments on the French circuit as well as international tournaments organized in France!
