The female painting of  Premier Padel P1 Tarragona  is preparing to deliver a  high-flying semi-final  between two of the best pairs on the circuit:  Bea González / Claudia Fernández  (seed 3) and  Gemma Triay / Delfina Brea  (seeded 2). A confrontation that could well have repercussions on the top of the world rankings.

Psychological advantage for González and Fernández

En  five direct confrontations , the duo  González / Fernandez  leads  4 wins to 1  against Triay and Brea. A stat that confirms their effectiveness against this pair, which they seem to counter particularly well.

Serene since the start of the tournament,  Bea and Claudia didn't lose a single set , and approach their  12th semi-final together . Results so far:  5 wins for 6 losses . They remain above all on a strong dynamic, after having won their  second title Premier Padel  at home for Bea, at  Malaga P1 .

Triay and Brea aim for No. 1 spot

On their side,  Gemma Triay and Delfina Brea  have a major challenge:  become the new world number 1 pair . A better result than  Sanchez / Josemaria  in Tarragona would allow them to move to the top of the table. This would be a  historic first for Delfi Brea .

With  5 titles gleaned in 2025 , the last of which at  Italy Major , they arrive launched. Their record in the semi-finals is stronger than that of their opponents:  7 wins for 4 losses  on their  11 semi-finals played .

They too have not conceded  no set  since the start of the tournament, which suggests a very balanced battle.
