Arturo Coello  et  Agustín Tapia  had to draw on their resources to overcome a pair  Nieto / Yanguas  solid and determined in the semi-final of the  Tarragona P1 The world number ones won 1/6 4/6 7/6 after a real fight lasting 2 hours and 2 minutes.

A tight first set, but well negotiated

As usual,  Tapia and Coello  take time to get into their game. Messy at times, dominated in the game, they nevertheless manage to make the difference in the important moments.  4/4 , they get the decisive break, then close out the set behind. A habit of theirs: being the most lucid in the money-time.

A well-deserved tie-break for Nieto and Yanguas

In the second act,  Coki Nieto  et  mike yanguas  raise their voices. More aggressive, more solid in the exchange, they push  the leaders of the ranking  in their entrenchments. Each point becomes a battle and it is logical that the set is played at  tie-breaker A decisive game where this time, it is the outsiders who take the advantage, equalizing at one set each.
