The TENNIS CLUB DE GISORS is launching into padel with the first padel court in Eure. Starting this July, an outdoor padel court will see the light of day. The President of TC Gisors, Jean-Paul Cerbonne, is obviously “pleased to see the club develop a new sport ".
The TC Gisors is a dynamic club with its 420 members of all ages.
The club offers
- -5 outdoor courts in all weather,
- 1 mini-tennis court and 1 training wall,
- 3 covered shorts including the bubble and its court in synthetic clay as well as the room Arthur Ashe and its 2 short in resin (Green Set)
- a clubhouse, with bar, TV, locker rooms - showers and toilets.
Jean-Paul Cerbonne tells us how the club managed to climb this field:
To build this short, we managed to materialize an original and exemplary financial package which brought together financial aid from our town: Gisors, from our Community of municipalities: that of Vexin Normand, from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development - close to of 78% of the total amount, and thanks to self-financing.
Since we decided to build an outdoor padel court with Technopadel, we also want to offer the opportunity to practice padel in our Normandy club.
TC Gisors already has a vision towards leisure and competition:
Each member will be able to find in the club the elements of satisfaction hoped, that this is within the framework of the " Tennis-Competitions" or " Tennis- Leisure But also for the " Padel-Competitions" or " Padel - Hobbies ».
With our expertise in terms of entertainment, the great spirit – playing together, progressing and conviviality – which prevails during these events will be reinforced with this new feature that is the padel court.
Events starting next week:
Thus, starting next week, a series of padel-related activities will gradually reach all audiences from 5 to 80 years old. These activities will be co-hosted by an elected official and an employee.
