The FFT officially communicates on its website on the reopening of tennis courts, padel and outdoor beach tennis on November 28.

Very good news for “tennis and related sports”Of the FFT. Sports clubs that offer these outdoor sports will therefore be able to reopen.

All practitioners, young people and adults, will be able to resume these sports.

The FFT explains, however, that these sports will have to follow “an adapted health protocol".

It should be remembered, however, that the regulations put in place by the government must be followed, namely:

  • You will be able to play or access the facilities, but in a radius of 20 km.
  • And respecting the allotted time which is 3 hours.

Bernard Giudicelli, President of the FFT, comments on this very good news:

This resumption, from Saturday, is excellent news for outdoor sports practice in our clubs. We convinced the public authorities.

We did it with pugnacity and by relying on the exemplary nature of the clubs which, in responsibility, have successfully implemented the strict health protocols of our federation since the spring. I thank the Ministry of Sports and all the State services concerned for the quality of their listening.

We are continuing our consultation work for stage 2 of deconfinement, with the same desire to serve and encourage practice within our clubs..

The FFT continues its work by collaborating with the Ministry of Sports to validate the health protocol.
