The FFT is active on the famous professional training requested by “pure padel players”. The French Tennis Federation is making great strides! TFP padel : A specific diploma padel
This weekend, during the retransmissions of FFT Padel Tour of Strasbourg, we learned many things about the evolution of the padel in France, especially from 2020.
The FFT is working on a future diploma of padel. The implementation of this diploma should be effective in 2020 and will make it possible to teach the padel against remuneration in France. The very good news is that this will be a diploma accessible to pure padel players.
Nevertheless, not everyone will be able to obtain this precious sesame: A minimum classification will be required. For the moment. The FFT is working on the requirements and nothing is yet recorded on the accession to this diploma.
But we know that it will be a "TFP", that is to say, a Title Professional Purpose.
What is a TFP?

These include the following degrees:
- Professional or technological baccalaureate
- Certificate of professional competence (CAP)

In 2020, people interested in this training padel will have to get closer to the leagues to obtain more information on the methods of obtaining.
However, it should be noted that DE Tennis will pass a simplified module which will also allow them to acquire this TPC padel.

This reform is very important because the padel needs to be taught in France. For example, in my club, we don't have a teacher padel and we do not know how to find any. (Not a tennis DE who has done a week of training and plays from time to time, but a teacher who knows the padel). The following difficulties arise:
The required ranking will be complicated to define because currently few players play the game well enough. padel to be able to teach it even if the level tends to increase. But on the other hand, if you are too elitist, you will end up with too few eligible people. Where to put the cut? , I would say top 500 to be wide and top 150 for a desirable level, what do you think?
The pure padel player side does not seem relevant to me yet. Indeed, the first places in the standings are overwhelmingly taken over by former second tennis series. IF these people teach tennis, it is good that they can also teach tennis. padel. I do not see well the old second series which does not teach tennis. Start teaching padel but why not .. Former tennis players should perhaps also have more stringent requirements in terms of minimum ranking insofar as one can easily move up in rank on his tennis skills without playing. padel.
After that, it starts from a good feeling and it is normal that a good player of padel have the right to teach it. But to my knowledge, few are good players of padel, who have not gone through tennis and who would like to teach it and therefore make a living from it.
Nevertheless, despite the difficulties, we must start with an often imperfect solution that will tend to progress. It is therefore good that the FFT is in this process.
