A few days ago Gabriel Reca announced that he was retiring as a padel professional. What a player, what a career and above all what a talent! Zoom on this genius of padel.

Gabriel Reca:

Gabriel Reca born August 10, 1974 in Buenos Aires (Argentina) has just retired from sports when he was at the 70th position in the world. Reca was world number 1 for some time and has been the icon of the famous brand for several years BullPadel. With exceptional talent and an exceptional vision of the game, Reca has teamed up with several great players such as Sebastian Nerone, Conception and Fernando Poggi. This “elder” of padel will have strongly participated in the development of padel in the world and in the approach to the game for all new players.

Franco - Argentine:

Born of an Argentinian father and a French mother, Reca has dual Franco - Argentinian nationality. Unfortunately as a player he will not have been able to represent France in international competitions but however he will have contributed enormously to the padel French! Arrived in the south of France (Monaco) through Mr. Fabrice Pastor and the company Monte-Carlo International Sports, Reca will have transmitted all its knowledge and know-how to all players, whether from leisure to competition . Many of the top French players will have passed into the hands of this magician whether for training or for several sessions, Laurent Bensadoun, Sébastien Corbelli, Jean-Michel Pequery, Max Moreau, Alix Collombon, Laura Clergue, Audrey Casanova, Thomas Leygue but also great professional players like Juan Tello, Federico Chingotto, Esther Lasheras.

To all these players, Reca will have transmitted something special and above all a sympathy which is greatly appreciated. Thanks to his arrival, these players will have had this little click to progress or make the decision to fully embark on this world of padel whether as a player or as a coach.

See you very soon Gaby!

Even though Reca has decided to put an end to his professional playing career he is not saying goodbye to the padel! Indeed, a few days after this announcement, Miguel Lamperti announced on social networks that Gabriel Reca will be his new coach for the rest of the season!

THANKS again Gaby for everything you brought in the padel, and good luck in the rest of your projects!
