A few weeks later, Henri Wallet will take the head of the Federation, to become its first President.

For 100 years now, the FFT has contributed to the evolution of the practice of tennis in France and around the world by constantly committing to be in tune with the challenges of its time and promote sporting excellence. It also supports the development of other disciplines with enthusiasts of racket sports, such as the padel, beach tennis and the short palm.

On the occasion of this centenary, the FFT wishes to pay tribute to the leaders, the club presidents, the players but also to the volunteers who have written the history of the Federation as well as that of tennis. Indeed, if tennis is today the most practiced individual sport in France with nearly a million licensees, the FFT owes it to all these women and men who have worked for 100 years to promote this disciplined. Today, nearly 7 clubs affiliated to the FFT and 500 volunteers, who put their passion at the service of the Federation and guarantee the success of tennis in France.

- The FFT has imagined an unprecedented series of monthly podcasts on his website www.fft.fr to share its story with the general public and discuss the prospects for its future. In the first episode, the FFT, for example, gave the floor to two licensed players, almost a hundred years old, for whom tennis is the “sport of their life”.

- An exhibition paying homage to the players who have marked the history of French tennis is to be discovered on the gates of the National Training Center, Porte Molitor (75016 Paris).
