Louis Cacheux is a 14 year old, ranked 909th French playerPassionate about padel since he discovered the sport at the age of 10, he embarked on a crazy project: to find his way in this sport.

To achieve his dreams, the young man from Valenciennes decided to go to Padel Stuff on the Bilbao side, to train alongside the former professional player: Andoni Bardasco. An adventure that has been going on for several months now and which could continue for a while longer!

"I like training with Andoni"

"My father and I saw an article about Andoni and it reminded me a little of myself, of my beginnings in padel.", Louis Cacheux tells us. Coming from football, then tennis, his story echoes that of his coach.

The decision is made for the young player, still supported by his parents: he wants to go and discover the Andoni academy in Bilbao. After an 11-hour drive, he set off for Spain. Motivated, he admits that he didn't know what he was getting into: “It was hard the first time because Andoni is very meticulous, he takes the time to explain and I didn't expect that.".

Enough to cool the schoolboy down? Not at all! He returned to Bilbao twice, determined to learn padel.spanish":"Andoni is very careful with my gesture, my movements. I realized that in Spain, it is not the same tactic as in France".

Heading to Bilbao in 2025?

The experience was a real electroshock for the 14-year-old who, after these three internships, decided to go and live in Bilbao, from next year, to train every day alongside Andoni Bardasco. In addition, the French high school in Bilbao is located right next to the training center: parents are reassured!

Now, a new mission faces Louis Cacheux's parents: find the necessary funds to allow their son to settle in Bilbao. The Valencian has several sponsors at his side who are already helping him, but he confesses: “I still need financial help to be able to move there".

It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
