You play padel, but your racquet hurts your elbow? Why not then do as in tennis and add an anti-vibrator.

We will show you that the anti-vibrator at padel may be interesting to use. We tested the products of K-TECH, a company which specializes in this field.

An anti-vibrator for the padel ?

It is not because the rackets of padel do not have a string that cannot reduce the vibrations of the racket. K-TECH uses the holes precisely to reduce them. By using 4 anti-vibrators, the player will play with less vibration. This patented system was implemented in Spain and presented at the national congress for the development of padel in 2016.

Appraisal: Rather a great success especially that until then, this problem had not been tackled.

This product is mainly intended for players who want to protect themselves from elbow pain or who are already in pain and who want to continue playing.

On the other hand, you will certainly have to change the anti-vibrators regularly because the more you play, the more the quality of the anti-vibrator is lost. The product costs 20 euros. At this price, you must not let the pain set in otherwise it could cost you more and on all levels.

According to the K-TECH table, the results of these anti-vibrators are obvious. We will see a little later that putting only one anti-vibrator per side is a mistake in our opinion because we feel some imbalances in the racket. It is better to put two per side if nothing.

How to mount the anti-vibrator on the racket?

First, you will not have 1 anti-vibrator to put but 4 on each side if you really want to make the most of the benefits of these objects.

You also have the possibility of putting only 2. But there will then be 2 problems in our opinion:
1 / The distribution of the vibration will not be balanced on the racket.
2 / Why use only 2 while you have 4 in any way.

Then, it will take a few seconds for the installation of these anti-vibrators. Maybe it will take a little longer for some rackets that have very narrow holes.

In the video, we just used a racket on purpose. padel whose holes were precisely reduced to show you that it is possible to put them.

Once the anti-vibrators are in place, you can leave them on the racket and play with a racket equipped with anti-vibrators.

Snowshoes padel don't they have a system to reduce vibration on impact?

All rackets from padel quality have systems to allow players to reduce vibration. But this is often not enough for players who regularly play tennis elbow. Adding this type of product will at least do no harm and allow you to reduce pain at best.

Look and price

This time, there is no excuse not to buy this product.

Frankly, for the possible contribution that this can bring it is not very expensive: 15 € the 4 anti-vibrators of padel.

For the look, there is nothing very special. You can choose between different colors.

Our opinion

We tested this product with tennis elbow problems precisely. We think that the product is very interesting for players with a little pain or who are subject to pain in the arm. If you play a lot, to anticipate problems, this product can be interesting. For ladies using rigid rackets, for the youngest also, this product can really please.

Nevertheless we see 2 limits:
1 / This product will not solve all elbow problems. There is less vibration, but a suffering elbow must rest. This product will reduce vibrations but will not eliminate your ailments.
2 / For some players, the location of these anti-vibrators can be a problem. Indeed, the pose is done on both sides of the racket in the middle at the bottom. Problem: Sometimes a player off-centers the ball. We found that despite the small object, there could be a slight false bounce. It is absolutely not prohibitive and even more when we speak of health, but on some balls in the match there can be a discomfort at this level there. Moreover, there is a very interesting table on off-center balls in a match which clearly shows that this element remains marginal.
