Au padel, a game action seems to pose many problems to the players as to the referees: The ball which falls between the bay window and the ground, one counts it good or not?

First observation: There are no written rules on this subject. So how do we do ? Well we will try to find an answer ...

Why is this type of ball called "bola huevo"?

In Spain, this type of ball is called "the bola huevo" that could be translated by an "egg ball". I suggest you keep the Spanish name, it's more speaking.

Why huevo? Because of the impact of the ball. When it bounces in the corner of the ground and the window, the impact looks like an egg.

So how do we do ?

It's not so obvious. Remember that a right angle is 90 degrees and is the angle between the floor and the wall (or bay window).

BELL GOOD: Between 45 and 90 degrees, the point continues.
For example, following a lob, if the ball is catchable and the angle of the ball is almost parallel to the bay window, the point continues.

BALL FAULT: Between 0 and 45 degrees, the point is needed
If the ball is low, almost impossible to catch, the ball will be considered foul.

So, is the ball good or not?

If there is no clear definite rule on this subject, it may be considered to be the most commonly used "tacit" rule. If there is any doubt, we put the point back.

In international competition with a referee, the referee uses this method to pursue the point or not. However, on a field, the players may not agree on the angle of the ball and suddenly cause some remouds.
