This is the first time that an international padel tournament will be held in theIndian OceanThis historic event represents a crucial step for the paddle in Mauritius, propelling the island onto the international scene of this booming sport.
Le Beautiful FIP Star Plan aims to attract the world best players, while highlighting Mauritius as a must-see tourist destination.

The idea of organizing a IFJ Star in Mauritius was born during a meeting between Jean-Thomas (JT) Peyrou et Fabrice Peroux, Director of Beau Plan Sports & Leisure (BPSL). Eager to promote padel on the island, Fabrice Péroux proposed organizing a tournament IFJ Star. He called on Jean-Thomas Peyrou, with his experience in organizing tournaments such as the FIP Rise of Bordeaux and Premier Padel P2 in Bordeaux. Together, they took up the challenge.
In November 2023, Jean-Thomas Peyrou, accompanied by Melissa Martin, 9th French player, visited Isla Padel. Impressed by the passion for this sport, they are convinced that international tournaments like the IFJ Star will generate growing interest in the paddle.
For the realization of IFJ Star, Jean-Thomas Peyrou, as tournament director, and Fabrice Péroux brought together influential partners from the Mauritian entrepreneurial community, determined to offer a very high quality event. This tournament will not only contribute to the development of padel on the island, but will also strengthen its tourist attractiveness internationally.
For Fabrice Peroux, Mauritius is becoming an essential stopover for padel with the FIP Star tournament. "Around this spectacular sporting competition, there is a real entertainment offer which awaits the Mauritian public in November. relaxation areas, musical animations for both afterworks "Festive events will be offered in addition to very high-level padel matches. This event will contribute to the national and international influence of our island and its economic players," he said.
After Beautiful FIP Star Plan, the organizers are considering moving the event to higher categories, such as the FIP Gold or FIP Platinum in the next four years. "Our long-term commitment is to see this event grow and become a must-see date in FIP calendar ", confides Fabrice Péroux.
