The pair composed of Fiona Ligi et Camille Sireix lost 2/6 2/6 against the experienced and better ranked pair Sofia Araujo et Patricia Maria Ribeiro.

A difficult meeting to say the least for the French pair who had nevertheless convinced during the first day, having given up only one game during their match against Poland. But facing this Portuguese pair, the adversity was much greater. This time, Sofia Araujo, 12th in the world in the FIP ranking, was lined up from the first match to make the difference and the break against the Blues.

To hope to win bronze, the French no longer have the right to make mistakes. The 2nd match will pit Collombon/Barbie against the Portuguese pair Fernandes/Gaspar. A match which promises to be as indecisive as it is tense. Objective: equalize to get bronze in the decisive match!
