This France-Portugal will have kept all its promises!  Lucile Pothier  et  Léa Godallier  were associated for the decisive match of this small final. Faced with Magarida Fernandes and Catarina Nogueira, the French duo had only one mission, to seek  the bronze medal  of these European Championships.

Mission accomplished for the Pothier / Godallier pair, imperial against the Portuguese, imposed their law on the Cagliari track. A victory in two sets,  7 / 5 6 / 4 , which allowed the French team to win the bronze medal at these European Championships.

France therefore climbs to the third step of the podium in Sardinia, behind Spain and Italy!

now  it's up to the French players to get the bronze medal against Portugal , leaving behind the disappointment of the semi-final against Italy:
