THE CATEGORIES OF TOURNAMENTS PADEL

There are 4 categories of FFT Tournaments, which are determined according to the prize money (total amount distributed in euros, per event, non-counted lots).

As a reminder, each tournament therefore includes 1 3 events, Double Senior Men, Double Ladies Senior and / or Double Mixed Seniors.

Depending on the category of the event, a minimum number of teams must register for the event (DM, DD or DMX) to be approved:

  • P 100: prize money from 0 € to 249 € 4 minimum teams
  • P 250: prize money from 250 € to 499 € 4 minimum teams
  • P 500: prize money from 500 € to 999 € 8 minimum teams.
  • P 1000: prize money from 1 000 € or more
    • Gentlemen: 24 minimum teams, selected thanks to the ranking.
    • Ladies and Mixed: 12 minimum teams, selected thanks to the ranking

NB: a Club can perfectly organize, for example, a Tournament with a P 1000 Men's event and a P 250 Ladies event. The category of each event is determined according to the prize money of the event considered.

  1. Which player in tel tournament category? For example, can the first Belgian player play p250 personally? I have never played a tournament. Can I register in which category? Thanks, have a good day

    1. Hello, dsl I did not understand your message. But basically anyone can do tournaments padel (all categories) Except the top 250 for the P100 and top 100 for the P250. Have a good day.
The first Belgian player must request an equivalence from the FFT to avoid him and to avoid the other players too much difference in level on the tournaments of padel P100 and P250.
