The regional government of the Community of Madrid, led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has just announced that it is sponsoring the Madrid Premier Padel P1. A sponsorship that is close to a million euros: 800.000 €. In return, the region will have an advertising presence throughout the event.

This amount, which may seem gargantuan at first glance, has been carefully considered by this new sponsor. Indeed, based on the figures from last year, when Madrid was in the spotlight, 3.574.786 viewers had followed the competition… in Spain only! 13.612 Spectators attended the tournament throughout the week.

According to figures collected at the end of the event, the economic impact for the Community of Madrid was 6.104.509 Euros. Therefore, this year the Community of Madrid believes it can amortize the amount allocated to the event without much difficulty.

Especially since for this new edition, Madrid Premier Padel P1 has an even more special flavor since it is only the third tournament in Spain this season... and already the penultimate! Many Aficionados should therefore make the trip to follow the competition. Especially since the capital is the homeland of many players: Marta Ortega, Claudia Fernandez, Alejandra Salazar, Jorge Nieto, Alex Ruiz and, of course, Alejandro galan.
