The FFT has confirmed this:the competition will resume on May 19, even if it will be necessary to follow the strict rules of the Ministry in charge of Sports.

Outdoor competition: let's go

Prepare yourself: young people and adults will be able to resume outdoor amateur padel competitionsFor outdoor padel clubs, we will thus be able to resume an almost normal life, even if the Ministry reminds that players must respect the health protocol including the famous distancing of 2 meters.

The competitions will however remain restricted in the sense that “gatherings must not exceed 50 people simultaneously or per event“. Very large sporting events therefore seem impossible until next June. But classic padel tournaments will be able to accommodate up to twenty pairs including the organizers.

Almost total deconfinement soon

We will come back to the notion “outdoor equipment: without limitation of participants“. This part can be interpreted in different ways. That is why we asked for clarification.

For young people, normal life resumes since they will also be able to play indoors until the curfew scheduled at 21 p.m.

To play indoors, adults will have to wait until June 9. Indoor padel clubs will therefore have to wait another month before returning to almost normal life. The curfew will be moved to 23 p.m.

30 June: end of curfew. Note that the changing rooms will remain closed in the clubs for an indefinite period.
