We know that bullets padel are different from tennis balls although they have the same shape and color. However, depending on the brand you use, you will notice differences in rebound, spin, pressure and durability. We will try to help you choose your next balls.

To play padel, you need several elements: A field that goes without saying, players, rackets and… balls. Many brands offer their balls, some sell better than others because they are the ones chosen by major tournaments, but be aware that there are several, of different styles, which may suit your game better.

First point: The felt

First of all the hair of the ball: We advise beginners or children, to use long-haired balls because they provide a slower game. It will be easier to catch the ball. More experienced players will use bullets with less hair to add liveliness to the game.

The most used bullets are:

  • Head : Since these are the official balls of the World Padel Tour, they are the most present in clubs, and especially the most sold. In Head, you have the Head Padel Pro, the one used by the pros. Women play the Pro and men play the harder, brighter ProS for faster play. This ball gives a clean, light and fast rebound in addition to good control.
  • Bullpadel : The most sold is the Bullpadel Premium Pro. This ball is lively and promotes quick play. No need for a great strike force to make travel this ball with the rubber core manufactured with high density. This ball has a great longevity, important for its use in training.
  • Dunlop: This brand has a proven track record in tennis. The most used is the Pro range. A clear and precise rebound. This ball is a safe bet.
  • Technifibre: Still little recoil for these balls there. Need experience for this brand because the balls tested in match do not keep a trajectory identical to the balls tested above. By cons, for use in training for beginners, they will do business. Moreover, they are cheap.
  • Wilson: Wilson balls are recommended for advanced level players who do not have a high level of play. Few felt so an important speed for a fast game. They are cheap and quite discouraged for beginners.
  • Slazenger: These balls are very durable and will be very suitable for aggressive players who hit the ball very hard. The structure of these balls avoids deformation wear which promotes optimal play whatever the effects used.

Once your chosen type of ball, you will have to agree with your opponents. But this is no longer our recourse.
