The French team of padel ladies and gentlemen preparing for the 11th European Championship Padel which will take place in Rome and which begins next Monday.

France will be one of the favorite nations. It has never been stronger with players participating in the professional circuit of padel.

The girls are led by the captain, Patrick Fouquet. The team consists of

  1. Alix Collombon / Jessica Ginier
  2. Léa Godallier / Laura Clergue,
  3. Mélissa Martin / Amélie Feaugas
  4. Marianne Vandaele / Charlotte Soubrié.

The association between Mélissa Martin and Amélie Feaugas should be pair 3 of the France team of padel. Léa Godallier will be associated with Laura Clergue again after the world padel in Paraguay a year ago. On paper, these two players World Padel Tour should now get along very well in the field.

At the men's, it's Alexis Salles who will be the captain of the team France with his group:

  1. Bastien Blanqué / Johan Bergeron
  2. Adrien Maigret / Benjamin Tison
  3. Jérémy Scatena / Robin Haziza
  4.  Thomas Leygues / Jérémy Ritz

Normally, Leygue / Ritz should only play in Open if there are no injuries. Indeed, Alexis Salles has already explained that there were in his team 3 pairs that were difficult to remove. 6 men players who are accustomed to the events of World Padel Tour.

If Spain and Portugal do not come to these European Championships of Padel, the men's group will be the favorite of these championships. Unless Italy concocts a team for us with surprise players like Britos, Nicoletti, or the magician Capitani. If all of these players are present in this team, and despite the difference with the other Italian players (who remain competitive!), France will find itself in an outsider position.

Obviously, we can hear a lot of disappointments from fans and players in recent days. We will have at the same time 2 European championships of padel  (Rome and Lisbon). We can only regret this situation when there will be representatives of the Olympic Committee in Rome.

Will we have Spain? Perhaps. It is understood that some nations could send teams to 2 championships ... including Spain.

For now, think of the game.
