The French Tennis Federation launches “FFT Teen Racquets”. Inspired by the senior event, which has aroused real enthusiasm among the participants for over 20 years, this new sporting activity is reserved for players aged 11 to 16, not classified up to 30 / 4. The latter are invited to live a unique and particularly convivial experience.

Sponsored by Wilson, this team event, which will be played in doubles only, will take place in four phases: “Club” (January / February), “Committee” (March / April), “League” (May) and a national final. (June). This final phase, which will bring together 16 teams, will take place at the Tennis Club of Dinard on June 13 and 14, 2020. This event is open to all FFT licensees but also to non-licensed practitioners during the “Club” phase.

This meeting will be placed under the sign of good humor and team spirit. The match formula is indeed particularly fun with short match formats and the use of intermediate balls. From the “Committee” phase, the matches will consist of two doubles played in a winning set, with a deciding 6/6 game (a deciding double will be played in the event of a tie after the two doubles). Each team will bring together 3 to 5 players.

The aim of the “FFT Teen Racquets” is to establish a real team spirit between the players as well as to help revitalize the life of the club, in a sporting and friendly atmosphere. This event is also proving to be a great opportunity for the participants to learn about competitive tennis.

A digital activation will accompany this new test. On the Tik Tok social network, participants in the FFT Teen Snowshoes will be invited to take up three different video challenges.
