The French Tennis Federation announced it in an email sent to the players: coaching will be possible during the 6 P2000s of 2020.

Limiting P2000s to French nationals is not the only novelty to come during the next P2000s. Indeed, the pairs will have the possibility during these 6 tournaments to benefit from a coach. An experimental measure, planned only for the end of 2020:

This experimental measure makes sense to support the gradual resumption of competition. It will be evaluated at the end of the year.

Several players of the French elite have expressed themselves in favor of this possibility.

This rule is already applied in WPT tournaments.
