The CUPRA FIP TOUR 2021 will therefore begin this Thursday, February 15 in Burriana, and will award the first points of the year. This first tournament of 2021 is part of the FIP STAR category, which is no longer the most prestigious offered by the international federation of padel. We should still attend some very nice games.

During this first tournament of the year 2021, for this FIP STAR category, for men, the 35 best players of the WPT cannot participate while for women, it is the 24 best players who are excluded.

The final table will be composed of 28 teams + 4 qualified:

    • Winner: 40 Points
    • Finalist: 24 Points
    • Semi-finalist: 12 Points
    • Quarter finalist: 6 Points
    • Round of 16 nd : 3 points

Do not forget all the same, the prize-money: € 6 to be shared among men, and € 000 among women (30% of this amount for the winners and 16% for the finalists)

 

APT PADEL TOUR: 2 stages in March 2021

 

As we told you previously, these 2 stages will take place in Paraguay.

The first, an OPEN, with an endowment of 35.000$ shared by the 24 teams, March 1 to 7.

For the second step, we go to a MASTER with a nice prize-money of 60.000$ to be divided here between the 28 teams that will compete, still in Asuncion, from 8 at 14 March next.

Note that these two tournaments are exclusively reserved for men.

 

New Tour: AMERICA CUPRA FIP TOUR 2021

This new competition will offer 16 stages, spread over 8 different countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Mexico, USA and Ecuador.

There is no doubt that this will allow players who are not part of the World Top 45, to practice high level tournaments, to progress and earn points in order to grab a few places in the standings so that they can then come and test themselves against the best players in the world. WPT.
