Ramón Morcillo, the new president of the Spanish Federation of Padel is about to give a turn to the policy established by its predecessor. What are the axes  ?

A few days ago the FEP elected its new president, Ramón Morcillo. A character who has decided to wear the colors of padel Spanish, and represent them around the world. Here are his first steps after 7 days in the chair.

Barely a week and a "super" busy schedule. Meetings and other contacts with the local Spanish federations but also with larger bodies such as the Spanish Olympic Committee, the World Padel Tour or the International Federation of Padel.

The dialogue

This is the basis of his four-year mandate. Ramón Morcillo announces that it is through dialogue that the padel Spanish will get bigger. And it has already started. Morcillo has contacted the representatives of each local federation to set up an economic recovery plan, has reconnected with the WPT and should meet the leaders soon to highlight the many Spanish players and the many tournaments held in Spain, and finally , to put Spain in order with the FIP.

Although Spain is already part of the FIP, relations between the two institutions were not the best. FIP and FEPA are in the lead, and Morcillo wants to find solutions so that all organizations in the world of padel have a place and a role to play for the good of all.

Very encouraging beginnings which go in a direction that we can only support; that of the development of padel through dialogue.
