Wilson has the particularity of keeping the names of its tennis rackets for the padel. After the Blade and Pro Staff, it is now the turn of the Ultra to see the light of day.

Wilson Padel has just expanded its range with the release of the Ultra, the racquet of the most based on power. A pala which takes up the blue and black of the tennis racket of the same name, with which Gaël Monfils evolves in particular. As with the Pro Staff lines Padel and Blade Padethere we find four ranges for the Ultra : the Ultra Team, the Ultra Elite, the Ultra and finally the Ultra Tour.

The Ultra line, which has the same teardrop / diamond shape as the Blade, stands out in the Wilson landscape since it is full at deck level, a specificity which aims to bring more power. In addition, it benefits from a whole new technology, called Infinity Edge, which consists of a concave piece all around the racket, which is supposed to enlarge the “sweet spot”.

The line starts at 100 € with theUltra Team, which has shiny fiberglass sides and low density foam ideal for beginners.

THEUltra Elite, 50 € more expensive, has smooth faces in a mixture of carbon fiber and fiberglass as well as a Power Foam, more powerful.

THEIncredibly , sold 200 €, keeps this foam but with two layers of rough carbon, for more effects and rigidity.

Finally, theUltra Tower, the high-end model, sold for € 230, has a foam Precision Foam, the most rigid, and therefore the most precise. The Ultra Tour also benefits from the rough double carbon layer.

Wilson is still banking on lightness since these four models are offered in weights between 360 and 370 grams. In addition, the foams in FOAM, will necessarily be more tender than EVA foams, which makes them more comfortable, and more recommendable for people suffering from the elbow.
