The French Tennis Federation permanently eliminates NO AD! A game format that had been clearly criticized by players and clubs since its implementation. The FFT took this dissatisfaction into account to remove this rule.

A deletion that will be particularly appreciated by players. On the other hand, the clubs had become accustomed to this format of play which made it possible in particular to gain a little time when the referee was on the breach at the timing level.

The competition guide explains the following:

DELETION of AD NO in all Game formats PADEL. Only four game formats are used in the Padel

  • Format A: 3 sets to 6 games
  • Format B: 3 sets of 6 games, 3 rd set = super decisive game with 10 points Short Formats:
  • Format C: 3 sets with 4 games, decisive game at 4/4, 3rd set = super decisive game with 10 points
  • Format D: 1 set with 10 points (format reserved for P 25 See CDC Tournaments)

All matches, whatever the format, will be counted at the same coefficient (coefficient 1) when calculating the ranking.
