Following the P2000 mishap organized by the French Tennis Federation at Padel Club du Mas in Perpignan this weekend, many players from padel questioned the sustainability of the other padel.

In total, the FFT has planned 6 beautiful proofs of padel P2000, including 2 in September:

  • From September 11 to 13 at the Les Pyramides club at Port Marly (Ile-de-France League),
  • From September 25 to 27 in Toulouse Padel Club (Occitanie League),

If the first one is officially canceled following a player from the France team who proved to be positive for the coronavirus in Perpignan, the other events are not affected for the moment.

In order to reassure clubs and players, Thierry Pham, the high level manager of padel French, confirmed to us that “lThe 5 tournaments left by the end of the year"Should take place"if sanitary conditions allow it".

The Pyramids tournament will take place in three weeks.

Good news for the whole community padel who hopes that this affair will not be repeated any time soon.

For now, the players present at the rally will be required to be in quarantine. The FFT plans a follow-up test in a week for all “contact persons”.
