What if padel could be part of the Olympic Games? For the Paris Olympics, we're not going to hide it from you: it's going to be very complicated, even if nothing has been decided yet. On the other hand, padel is expected to be included in the 2023 European Games which will take place in Poland. That would be a very good thing for our sport.

A delegation of the European Olympic Committees will be present at the XIth European Championships Padel in Rome to closely observe our sport for a future registration in the program of the European Games 2023.

During the visit, the Krakow 2023 Organizing Committee will also be present for an operational meeting.

From padel to the Olympic Games? The road is still strewn with pitfalls... But we see some doors that were closed until now opening a little... And that is why we have the right to be optimistic about what happens next.

The secretary general of the European Olympic Committees, Raffaele Pagnozzi, announces an official letter to the International Federation of Padel for:

inform that a delegation of the European Olympic Committees will attend the XIth European Championships Padel, which will take place in Rome from November 4 to 9.

As you know, we are studying the new sports program for the third edition of the European Games - which will take place in Krakow and in the Malopovska region (Poland) in 2023 - the Rome event will therefore be an opportunity to explore further the subject.

We will inform you later of the composition of the EOC delegation in order to organize meetings with you and the Krakow EG 2023 Organizing Committee.

Obviously, with all this good news, we want to believe that all the European and world authorities will sit around a table to unite and develop padel with one voice.
