Gianfranco Nirdaci, Chairman of the committee Padel of the Italian Tennis Federation (FederTennis) returned to the European Championships of Padel in Rome, but also and above all the possibility of seeing padel enter the Olympic family.

Padel in the Olympic Games is possible, although there is still a long way to go. We need to work with the main players in this sport, including Luigi Carraro, to move forward and see what can be done. Padel needs an architect to see this sport enter the Olympic family. And Luigi is one of those architects.

For padel to be at the Olympic Games, it takes time. But we are already working with the FIP and its partners to see if padel can pick up the pace. We could already be at the European Games and why not see padel integrate other major sporting events.

Padel is not lacking anything. Precisely, with these European Padel Championships, padel shows all its strength. We are on the right path.
