Euro Padel Cup will be held at the famous Parisian club Casa Padel in Paris from 9 to 11 November 2018 Organized by the European Association of Clubs Padel (PCEA).

The European Association of Clubs padel created the EURO PADEL CUP, the first Club Cup of padel Europeans. Its director, Fernando Blanca, wants to make this competition the “Champions League padel". He adds:

The AECP has created a tournament which aims to stimulate the practice of padel in Europe. We want to make a major tournament between the clubs of padel Europeans.

This organization based in Toulouse (France) already has the confidence of players and clubs.

This is a competition between clubs across the continent, which will count 16 participants in its first edition.

Its director, Fernando Blanca, once again describes it as “the Champions League padel".

It's an amateur competition that does not compete with another competition. It will bring together the best clubs of the Old Continent.

The first Euro Padel Cup will therefore take place in Paris, at the Casa club Padel, from November 9 to 11. Each team will be composed of two male pairs and one female with consolers from the quarter-finals.

FRANCHISE SYSTEM

Based on the franchise model of American leagues such as the NBA or the NFL, the tournament management accepts the participation of brands and all types of companies, provided that they are associated with a physical club. Fernando explains:

This can be an individual entrepreneur, a company of any sector or directly a club of padel. If the owner of the franchise is not a club, he must join a physical club.

The entity purchasing the participation rights ensures its presence in the tournament for 10 years.

Le padel of tomorrow ?

Euro Padel Cup aspires to become a competition where future great champions of padel will have made their class via the Euro Padel Club.

Fernando Blanca returns to the clubs:

One of the fundamental objectives of the tournament is to help clubs create a powerful brand image clearly differentiated from their competitors by their ability to create good players.  Academies are one of the most important sources of direct income.

For the second edition in 2019, the tournament will go to 24 participants.
