The Mayor of Voisins le Bretonneux canceled the building permit filed only 3 days earlier on the gates of the park Maurice Laure.
The permit covered the construction of a 9-meter-high building housing 2 courts of padels semi indoor within a park adjoining 3 residences.
The petition will have collected in a month more than 1000 signatures rising against "the disfigurement of this magnificent wooded park, against the disproportionate cost of this project (350 000 euros) and against the noise and visual nuisance imposed on the local residents " explains Marie Guyot, a resident concerned by this project.
The city does not hear it that way. But to calm the spirits, the city reflects on another project to satisfy all parties.
