“We had a really cool time during our Cupra match. First of all, it's really cool to play padel, and the location of the court is crazy, right in front of the Eiffel Tower. We played against opponents who took part in the precision challenge where we had to hit targets from the Cupra City Garage” said Domingo, about the event.

“It's very cool, it's the first time we've played on a temporary pitch and we had a very good feeling, our opponents today were a little stressed. The second match, we lost badly against the finalists. We are trying to progress, we are playing regularly enough to try to get our first P25” continues Xari.

A series of 11 defeats in a row which hurts

Sunday : “After these 11 defeats we needed to take the time to tell ourselves that it was done. If you play us in a tournament, know that you are lucky, that's the advantage. We had a lot of P25s, we found ourselves in the 1/4 finals. Mentally it wasn’t easy, we couldn’t win a match anymore, but honestly we’re here to enjoy it.”

xari : “Domingo has really progressed on his viper, I'm trying to be a little less stupid. I think the next P25, at least it's the semi-final, otherwise I'll stop everything. Take care."

Sunday : “We are lucky to be coached by Man Vives, and whenever we can we play padel. We also play a lot of games with friends, it depends on our schedules. Lately I have had a few events, so less time to play but I try to play once a week. I want to stop everything in my life to devote myself to padel: I must not be the only one to say that! Xav plays more often, at one point he was slightly below my level, he has made a meteoric rise.”

xari : “I have always been immersed in racquet sports: my father plays tennis, I play badminton. With the opening of Home Padel Two, I try to go there 3/4 times a week. And when Man is there, we train with him. We try to play as much as possible to gain experience, to be up to the task.”

Sunday : “I think we're screwing it up, as soon as you come into contact with us it's dangerous (laughs). Manuel Vives is going through a bit of a difficult time but he is at full strength on the pitch and he has a lot of talent. It's only a matter of time before he achieves his goals. We talk to him often, he's a great guy. There he is at the French team training camp, we will send him a voice, tell him that he is the best and even send a message to the coach, tell him that he brings something extra to the team. xari : “He told me it's in waves, here we are in the trough so we can't even imagine the top of the wave. It's going to be huge. He must do a good internship to earn his place. .”
