Le Tennis Padel Sun hosted the first part of its tournament Pro-Am Summer Trophy. Bringing together professional players from padel, tennis, friends of the club and Monegasque personalities, this first part of the tournament allowed us to attend a padel quality.

Quarters where the favorites have gone

Following the withdrawal of the Goffin-Johansson pair, the Restivo-Ferrer pair were exempt and were directly qualified for the next round.

The first match of this Thursday morning opposed Chingotto-Pastor to the Romari-Sanchez pair. The pair composed of Zeus Sanchez, professor of the Tennis club Padel Soleil and Olivier Romari, lost 6 / 1-6 / 0 against the recent finalist of the Madrid Open and the CEO of Monte Carlo International Sports and the APT, who will be opposed in the semi-finals to the Ferrer-Restivo pair.

During this time a match was played between Juan Tello and the general manager of the CFM, Monegasque bank, Mathieu Ferragut, to Olivier Peyret and Fabrice Mailhebiau, two friends of the club. The Tello-Ferragut pair won 6 / 2-7 / 5, securing their ticket to the semi-finals.

The third and final match of this morning was between Martin Di Nenno, 26rd player in the world rankings, and Franck Damar, player of the Monegasque selection to Christophe Cailteux and Arnaud Piacentile, two friends of the club and saw the Argentino-Monegasque pair, win by the score of 6 / 4-6 / 4.

An exceptional semi-final!

The semi-finals were played this afternoon from 15:00 p.m.

The first semi-final therefore pitted the Tello-Ferragut pair against the Di Nenno-Damar pair which ended in a victory for the Di Nenno-Damar pair with a score of 6 / 2-6 / 4.

The second saw the pairs Ferrer-Restivo and Pastor-Chingotto fight for a place in the final. Despite an exceptional level of play from the Pastor-Chingotto pair, they were unable to secure the victory against the former No.3 ATP and the current No.55 WPT who prevailed over the score of 5 / 7-7 / 6-10 / 7. Unfortunately, David Ferrer being unavailable to play tomorrow's final, he will be replaced by Juan Tello, lucky looser of these semi-finals.

Friday August 14, we will therefore be entitled to padel very high level once again, with a final pitting Martin Di Nenno and Frank Damar against the pair Juan Restivo and Juan Tello, who will fight from 12:00 p.m. to win the Pro-Am tournament organized by Tennis Padel Sun.
