Géraldine Sorel / Mélissa Martin and Benjamin Tison / Adrien Maigret have postponed the Open de Casa Padel which counted for the men as the qualifications World Padel Tour from Paris. An atypical event which allowed French pairs to try to participate in the largest professional event in France: The Challenger World Padel Tour Paris - Casa Padel.

Sorel / Martin calms the competition

Mélissa Martin / Géraldine Sorel, favorite of the competition, had merit to get out of the clutches of the Franco-Italian pair, Audrey Casanova / Cristina Dolce. To get to the final, it was a formality. But the final was fiercely contested, and it is finally the recent pair 4th at the French championships of padel which ends up winning in 3 sets: 7/5 0/6 6/3.

It was certainly one of the most beautiful ladies matches since the beginning of the season as the quality was the rendezvous in the image of this match point with a successful exit of Melissa Martin.

it's going strong again for Tison / Maigret

The Maigret family is everywhere. This was the case in tennis. Here they are again in the padel ! In the final, we had the right to an interesting opposition: Le Panse / J. Maigret against Tison / A. Maigret.

1st set to forget for the pair Le Panse / Maigret lost 6/0. The match really starts in the second set, where the levels balance out. Loïc Le Panse and Julien Maigret will not realize almost any fault in this second set despite the aggressiveness of the favorites Tison / Maigret. There was certainly a little regret on the side of the underdogs since they did not manage to win the second set despite the two break points obtained on the opposing service. Final victory for A.Maigret / Tison: 6/0 7/6.

Note the comeback of the Tison / Maigret pair with in particular an explosive semi-final between the French pair and the Spanish pair Lara Salines / De Benito. A great victory for the French which comes at the right time before the world championships of padel who begin October 28 (November 4).

After their second place acquired during the French championships, it is the second consecutive P1000 that Tison / Maigret has won (P1000 won last week in the 4PADEL BORDEAUX - National Padel Cups).

What are the qualified for the Challenger?

There were 3 tickets to win this weekend for the Challenger qualifiers from World Padel Tour.

Adrien Maigret and Benjamin Tison are already qualified thanks to their ranking in the WPT ranking.

Loïc Le Panse will be associated with Fermín Ferreyra Estevez. So it is already in the main table.

So, we could have the pair Bourgoin / Peyrou retrieved for the qualifications. A nice reward after their beautiful course this weekend.

Julien Maigret could be associated with Yann Auradou.

De Benito / Lara Salines could be part of the qualified pairs.

We will be communicating on all pairs this week.
