The Ile-de-France league organized the qualifications for the French championship of padel, the weekend of July 2 and 3, 2022 on the slopes of Padel Horizon. The competition took place in very good conditions and a very nice atmosphere. The program was developed by referee David FERREIRA who was assisted in welcoming the players by Catherine LEFEBVRE.

The female phase included 13 teams and saw the victory of the pair in the final: Charline TONDA (n° 20) and Elise DAVID-BOUVIER (n°44) against Manon TONDA (n° 34) and Alexise DUCHENE (n°69) .

Ile-de-France padel

Regarding the men's tournament, 24 teams were present to try to reach the final and thus represent the IDF league at the French championships.

The two semi-finals were hung, one of which was disputed with Philemon RAICHMAN (n° 34) and Fabien LE SAUX (n° 41). This team was leading 5/1 in the third set and the pair Zine Dine MEDDAH (n°79)/Pierre DESTOMBES (n°63) had to save more than 5 match points to allow them to reach the final after more than two hours of play.

The final was finally won by the pair Yann AURADOU (n°9)/Manu VIVES (n°25).

The IDF league hopes that other pairs will also accompany these two winning teams.
