In the world of Padel, the amortized serve is used as much as in tennis, that is to say very rarely. Some say it's not possible, but until the second bounce hits the grid, serve counts. Although it is not very often used at high level, some players try it to vary their serve, and surprise their opponent.

What does the realization of an amortized service consist of?

As the name suggests, the player tries to perform a slow service, and with enough of the cut and sometimes cut side effect for the ball to make two rebounds close to the net, and thus force the opponent to make a race fast forward.

This type of service is intended to surprise the opponent, however some players take it for lack of respect, especially during approved tournaments.

Maxi Sanchez has already achieved it at the WPT against Belasteguin!

In the finals of the Cervezas Victoria Malaga master of 2015, we could see the player, current number 1 worldwide, Maxi Sanchez do a service amortized on Fernando Belasteguin, the number 1 of the time, which suffered some cramps, and it does not could not move much on the ground. The action, very surprising at this level, has puzzled the players (Pablo Lima and Juan Martin Diaz) as well as the public.

After undergoing this cushioned serve Bela's face is indicative of what he thought of this blow at the time. He was quite surprised by this surprising choice of Maxi. But on closer inspection, Juan martin Diaz, Maxi Sanchez's teammate apologizes for the serve his partner has just performed, and Maxi also shows Bela that he is sorry. The audience, for its part, is torn between “oooooh”, laughter, and whistling.

Then, Bela turns to Juan and Maxi's trainer, pointing at him as if he wanted to say that the idea came from him, while laughing of course! Immediately, Fernando Belasteguin asks the public to calm down, so that the players can continue their match.

According to the regulations, the realization of such a depreciated service is quite accepted, but public opinion is more skeptical. And you: What do you think of this debate? Real blow or provocation?
