The best players of padel French will be helped by the French Tennis Federation to face the health crisis.

Bernard Giudicelli, the President of the FFT returned to the theme of the help provided to tennis players, padel  and the beach.

In the padel, 5 players and 8 players will be helped by the French Tennis Federation. However, these players must meet the following rules:

  • Not having been compensated by the professional circuit
  • Be a French tax resident
  • Have a SIRET number
  • Have requested and benefited from the help of 1.500 for entrepreneurs who have lost turnover.

More generally, this aid is therefore intended for tennis players on the professional circuit (excluding the world top 100) and associated disciplines (padel, beach tennis and wheelchair tennis).

This assistance may be allocated to players who do not benefit from the international assistance systems, or it would be complementary to it.

In addition, the FFT, as organizer of Roland-Garros, contributed, like the other Grand Slams, up to 1 million euros to the international aid fund for players classified between the 101rd place and the 500rd places WTA and ATP rankings.
