The former world number 1 will have the chance to compete in the WPT Buenos Aires Master 2021 and integrate the final table from the start of the competition.

Indeed Sebastian nerone was granted a “Wild Card” issued by the event organizers.

So he can play the tournament alongside his teammate Maxi Grabiel, another legend of this sport.

He will be the oldest of the Rural tracks. Seba Nerone is not just any player. And for good reason, in 2001 he came to the side of Gaby Reca to get the number 1 place, before handing over the throne to King Bela.

He is currently 86th in the standings World Padel Tour but if he no longer has the expected results on the slopes, he now excels as a match commentator for the spanish version with Lalo Alzueta.

We will remember that during the last Buenos Aires Master, the Wild Card pair, Roby Gattiker / Denis Perino, had surprised his world by taking a turn in the main draw. It was precisely against Fernando Poggi and Maxi Grabiel.

An event under control

This Buenos Aires Master will be the fifth. Indeed, last year, due to the global pandemic, this tournament could not take place.

The Argentine government decided this year to grant the right to La Rural to open its doors, but under certain conditions. In fact, only 1 people will have the chance to attend this crazy event by ensuring that the barrier measures are respected as a rule. This represents only 000% of the pavilion's total capacity.

There will be two types of entry tickets:

  • The complete pass to access the entire competition
  • The daily ticket to come and enjoy the best padel on a single day.
