Thomas Leygue continues his impressive run on the circuit Premier PadelPartnered with Belgian Clément Geens, the Frenchman secured his qualification for the main draw of the London P1 on Monday, just days after having already qualified for the Pretoria P1. This is an encouraging confirmation for the former French number one, who is regaining consistency at the highest level. 

Two controlled victories to reach the main draw

Seeded No. 5 in qualifying alongside Clément Geens, Thomas Leygue left little room for doubt.

The two men had made a perfect start to their tournament by dominating  Ferran Insa and Octavio Alvarez  on the score of  6 / 4 6 / 3 , a serious encounter that had opened the doors to the final round of qualifying for them.

On Monday, they confirmed in front of  Adrian Ronco and Julian Lacamoire Another victory in two sets ( 6 / 2 6 / 4 ) which validates their ticket for the main draw of the first London P1 in history.

For Thomas Leygue, this match had a sense of déjà vu. He was facing Adrian Ronco again, whom he had already beaten a few days earlier during the Pretoria P1 qualifiers.

A renewed consistency on Premier Padel

This qualification is far from insignificant.

it's about the  Thomas Leygue's second consecutive qualification for a P1 main draw , following the one obtained in Pretoria. A consistency that the Frenchman had been seeking for several months and which confirms his rise to prominence on the circuit Premier Padel.

For its part,  Clement Geens Dylan Guichard's usual partner seems to have a perfect understanding with the former French number 1. They quickly developed an understanding and the pair didn't drop a single set during these qualifying rounds.

A first round to go for

The goal now will be to convert this qualification into a successful run in the main draw.

The draw could offer an interesting opportunity for the Franco-Belgian duo to secure their first victory in the main draw and continue their momentum.
